Resource collections
“BPEC provide a vital service as they keep up to date with current issues and themes. They have the time to research new resources and putting them together in a themed box makes it really easy for teachers to use a much wider range of resources than a school or teacher could collect on their own.” Brighton Teacher
Adinkra printing: cross curricular collection using a textile tradition from Ghana to explore children's values and identity.
“The beauty of it has been that the resources have been straightforward and easy to use - just open the box and there is your lesson, or series of lessons; this is because of the value of the materials educationally - they have been well selected by people who know what messages we need help to put across.” Brighton Teacher
Mexican Day of the Dead: A collection exploring this ancient festival with opportunities forteaching basic spanish.

Woven lives: Guatemalan: Weaving tales of life in Guatemala, the collection of resources engages pupils in issues of citizenship and sustainable development. They explore how and why places change, and how decisions affect the quality of people's lives. Key themes are protest, democracy and dictatorship, rights and responsibilities, identity and belonging, and participation.
“I think the box was useful as otherwise my only resources would of been the Internet. I think it benefited the children's learning because I felt well informed about what I was planning and teaching, so the quality of their learning experience was better. Having the example pieces of material and tools made Adinkra textiles more real and not just an abstract experience.” Brighton Teacher
